PROFILE – EDITOR – CONTENT

Based on your availability, you may commit to work anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes per day. And you may only work select days each week. But you need to inform your manager well in advance so we can plan accordingly.

Quality Control
You need to ensure the quality, quantity and turnaround time of work at each step and that the human resources of the firm are in line.

20% of billing is yours for the projects you QC singlehandedly
The editorial team/editor gets 20% of the billing of the writers’ for the respective project.

You need to inform of your availability and turnaround time well in advance. If another team member ends up doing partial QC for your work, you lose 100% of the income from those parts of that project.

NOTE 1:

You need to inform your work hours well in advance. Most projects will need to be submitted within or well before 24 hrs. Delays won’t be excused!

You will have several parallel projects at the same time.

NOTE 2:

You will also be in charge of Quality control including but not limited to copyscape.com and plagiarism checks, following of client guidelines, ensuring proper grammar is maintained by the writers, then Grammarly checks, editing, proofreading, Grammarly reports etc.

Ideally, once you receive an article you’ll probably not need to spend more than 3-5 minutes on each article of 500 words or so. Unless of course it needs revisions in which case you’ll need to send it back and recheck when you get it again.

You’ll personally need to check every single article manually and through tools that I provide. Including but not limited to Copyscape.com for plagiarism, Grammarly.com for grammar, light manual editing/proofreading etc.

You need to go through every single article to ensure that there are no typos or grammatical mistakes. You’ll also provide feedback to your writers so they can improve. And this also ensures that you need to spend less time improving the work for those writers as time passes. Interaction will be via your manager.

So if your team delivers say 30 articles in a day, you’ll probably need to spend 60 to 150 minutes maintaining quality control and related stuff.

Thank You so much, God Bless!

Writer Fees

weavingthoughts Join January 8, 2016

PLEASE NOTE

The reason native and non-native writer rates are different is because clients are willing to pay more for native writers. It is not because non-native writers aren’t as good. That is not always the case. Some Indians may even be better than native writers.

It is just that clients are willing to pay more for native English writers. One, I won’t lie to my clients. So I offer them both services at price points they can afford. Two, the average native English writer has a far better command over English compared to the average Indian writer. And three, native writers have a different style that is more suitable to a native English readers’ audience. And that audience is usually worth more to clients.

ALSO

I know that the payment isn’t that great. But sadly this is all we can afford. And unfortunately, I don’t see that improving anytime soon either.

On the flip side, we have more work than you will ever need. As much as you want. Whenever you want. And from the comfort of your home. You can’t compromise on the quality of service, though.

Writing a 500-word article once you get the hang of it should take like 30 minutes or so. So soon you should be able to write about 2 articles of that length with some practice, in an hour that is.

Now, if this payout isn’t worth your time, then hard luck for us!

ROKEETO

Hires Indian writers and others of non-native English origin. However, your English must be absolutely fluent and rock solid.

Standard Rate: Will be shared through email.

Payments are made monthly via NEFT. And you are responsible for all transaction fees involved.

For writers who don’t have an Indian bank account, we can pay via Skrill or Paypal, but you will bear all transaction/conversion fees of both sides.

To apply, email writers@weaving.in with a sample article and your contact number, mentioning your nationality and that you’re applying to Rokeeto.

MILOQ

Hires native English writers from USA, UK, Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

Standard Rate: Will be shared through email.

Payments are made weekly/monthly via Paypal or a method of your choice. And you are responsible for all transaction fees involved.

To apply, email writers@weaving.in with a sample article, mentioning your nationality and that you’re applying to Miloq. Mentioning your contact number is optional if you’re applying to Miloq.

HOW WE CALCULATE THE WORD COUNT

If we order an article of 500 words,
You are expected to write: A title of 40-60 characters PLUS An article body of 501-550+ words or so
And payment is for 500 words, not more, not less.
You can’t write less than what is mentioned above. NEVER!

If we order an article of 800 words:
You are expected to write: A title of 40-60 characters PLUS An article body of 801-880+ words or so
And payment is for 800 words, not more, not less.
You can’t write less than what is mentioned above. NEVER!

If we order an article of 250 words:
You are expected to write: A title of 40-60 characters PLUS An article body of 251-275+ words or so
And payment is for 250 words, not more, not less.
You can’t write less than what is mentioned above. NEVER!

Terms & Conditions For Joining Weaving Thoughts As A Writer

If you join Weaving Thoughts, it is implied that you are perfectly fine with each and every single of these terms. They are non-negotiable.

From The Desk Of Aakshey Talwar

Founder & CEO, Weaving Thoughts

8th January 2016, New Delhi, INDIA

To be clear, I offer part time freelance content work from home content writing projects to freelance writers that are paid on a per article basis.

To introduce myself, I am Aakshey Talwar, the Founder and CEO of Weaving Thoughts.

I am constantly on the lookout for fresh talent in the form of writers. And I am always open to give a chance to anybody and everybody through the year if they think that they want to join my company.

Now, what exactly is this profile, is what you are perhaps wondering?

Coming to that right now!

  1. You can work from the comfort of your home.
  2. You will have flexible working hours.
  3. Do as little or as much work as you want. But you do need to meet deadlines which aren’t that flexible.
  4. There is unlimited work for you should clients keep giving us work and should your quality and service be good enough.

NOTE

This is ghostwriting. You don’t get any credit for any work you do for/with us apart from the compensation.

All rights are retained by the client of said work. You can’t claim any right of any kind for any work done for/with us.

WARNING

Engaging in the below activities is likely to get you penalized or fired from the team. The extent of penalty isn’t limited by any measure or aspect.

You may or may not receive a warning, based on my discretion and conviction. You certainly can’t expect that to be your right though I try to be as fair as possible with everybody.

The activities include but are not limited to:

1. Plagiarism of any sort. Of any type. At any scale. Any time. In any article.

2. Putting our reputation or project or revenue at stake or potentially at stake, with a chance of damage.

3. Content quality that isn’t objectively/subjectively comparable to the samples you show us when we hire you.

4. Any act which implies insincerity or cheating the company directly/indirectly or lack of honesty in any aspect of dealing with us.

5. Any other reasonable reason.

Again, just a legal precaution. I doubt this clause will ever be used because it is of no meaning in most cases! 😀

I don’t want to scare you away, I really don’t.

I need as many good writers as I can hire. But I need to safeguard the company from the evil elements out there. Because I have had the misfortune of facing them previously and unfortunately they come up from time to time.

I would be glad to have you on board.

And don’t worry. Weaving Thoughts is a genuine company. In business since 2008 now.

NOTE

Writers are requested to apply only through email and not call me until they get selected. I can’t attend calls because I receive thousands of writing applications a year, and it is impossible to manage that, except through email.

Thank You so much for reading this so far!
